SPEAKER_00:

Hey folks, it's been a minute. I have a big announcement in coming. The Film Nuts podcast started out as a way to virtually connect with folks during the pandemic. I had a free Zoom account with a 40-minute recording limit, and I didn't even use it for video. And now going into our sixth season, we have significantly grown. We've matured, we've gotten more in touch with ourselves, we've experimented with what we're capable of. This show has always been about connection, sharing our love of our favorite movies and beloved TV shows. And through the magic of the internet, I've been able to connect with people all over the world. But this season, we are doing everything entirely in person. Even if we have to hit the road. No more Zoom calls or other virtual chats. We are going to be sharing our feelings of what we love to watch as actual in-person experiences with the folks we're talking to. I will bring some friends along with me and undoubtedly make new ones in the process. And the Film Nuts podcast has expanded and solidified into more of a visual show than I ever had dreamt of when I first started. But it honestly makes sense given that this is a show about loving what we watch. So, from here on out, we're dropping the word podcast. This is simply film nuts. You'll still be able to listen to the show as a podcast on your favorite platform of choice, but much like the films and shows we love, we are a visual media. So please go check us out on YouTube right now. I'm really looking forward to this next ambitious season, but it won't be possible without your help. I have brand new tiers set up over on our Patreon page if you're looking to back the show and get some bonus content in the process, or you can actually make a one-time donation of any amount to filmnuts at paypal.com. There is zero pressure to do so, like always, but I cannot wait to bring you all along for the ride. Thank you for rocking with me all these years. We'll be recording new episodes starting in March, so stay tuned. We'll be back before you know it.
